I live in Ontario Canada. I have my own business which offers adult education outsourcing such as the development of workshops, courses, presentations, seminars, etc, for business and the public. I have had some contracts already but I do not have enough experience to be sure about pricing. Should one use an hourly cost, or project cost? What range? Who do I compare my pricing as there are few to none who do what I do. I can develop, research, format, arrange time, etc., seminars, worbooks, manuals, etc. I feel lost in this venture and would really appreciate some help. |

Hi George,
I have some experince in training and developing manuals for training purpose. You can use several methods to cost the service. The easiest is based on the amount of time you put in. I think for an individual it could vary from $ 50 to $ 100 per hour. Since you have no body to compare with, it is better - even client want have anybody to compare with. |

I have been in Ontario, Canada for 6 + years and all I could hear from friends and everybody is that no body has good job or complaining about persent job.
I have few friends settled in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) and have been very successful in getting job and are settled very well.
I would recommend someone who is willing to relocate and doesn't have a decent job (atleast making $ 40 K per year) should think to reloacting in Alberta.
I would like to read views of someone who has already settled in Alberta. |
